Promoting gender equality in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics


Women make up half of the total U.S. college-educated workforce, but only 29% of the science and engineering workforce.


For every dollar a man earns, a woman only earns 86 cents in the United States. 


In 2014, for every ten scientists in Singapore, only three were females. The participation rate of women in STEM climbed from 23.6% in 2004 to 29%. 


71% of Multi National Companies have a board of directors consisting of less than 20% women.

While quantum physics itself remains elusive to the vast majority of people, its practical applications are astounding in their gravity. Perhaps the most famous of such applications is that of the quantum computer, an invention which could have the capacity to revolutionise the world of technology. 

Now, while the idea has indeed captured the eyes of many in popular media, the actual physics behind such a system seem to be largely unknown.
